Manchester airport parking

Hopefully someone can help here please. We got a last minute holiday end of this month, only down side was having to fly from Manchester. Have never travelled from here before so I was wondering is anyone can recommend a car parking site. Had a quick look online but if anyone can help provide details of the best one to use then that would be great thanks.

The Jet Parks are pretty good furthest out Jet3 is a 10 minute bus journey. Buses are about every 10 minutes

It'll depend to a great extent on how close you want to be to the terminal, which, in reality, is a cost question.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Parking at manchester is a doddle. You can get near the terminal and pay a a pricey sum or you can go in the jet parks which as mentioned is a 10 minute bus journey (busier during rush hours, upto 30 mins) and we normally pay about £20. The buses are on a loop and you shouldnt be waiting more than 5 minutes.

Use the Manchester Airport's own site and you can usually get a good deal on Meet and Greet, so no time wasted queueing to hand your keys in and wait for a bus - or, as you don't know the area, looking for the car park.

Let the train take the strain. Plenty of trains from Glasgow Central to Manchester Airport, changing at Preston...

Not bad prices on some of them.:)

The last time I booked, the links from MSE worked out the most competitive for me (slightly better than Manchester Airports own website).
Another vote for Meet & Greet - with the added bonus that you don't have to go in a bus with other travellers who are prattling on about where they've been, where they're going, what the weathers like etc etc.

Thanks for the replies so far folks. Never tried the Meet and Greet option but shall certainly look into it. As I don't know the area it would be good to just drive right in then away on our return. As regards to train Pete we get in at daft o'clock in the morning so would need to hang about waiting on first train out

I always stay clear of those "Meet & Greet" services - do you really know where your car is being parked or if its being used whilst you are away ???

Probably shoved around the back of some industrial estate whilst you're away ...

Manchester official Meet and Greet (well more park and walk) is by far the best compromise if your not looking just for cheapest.

    Multi story is most expensive.

Jetparks plus was £8.49 for a week not long back, with free fastrack !

Park right in airport, walk to cabin, hand keys, walk to terminal all in less than 5 mins. Car waiting on return.

I admit I do not know where they store the car but the website says in Manchester airport official parking or such like, I check each time and my car never goes more than 1 mile. I suspect they use one of the long stays or jet parks. I have used them at least half a dozen times, usually pay about £45 for 10/14 days and have always been highly pleased and never an issue.

I always pay extra for the T1/T3 short stay.

Not very money saving but very convenient.

    Unless you're flying from T2.
