Thomson flight delay

Options
Hi, I'm new on here so please bear with me. I was delayed recently on a flight from Punta Cana to Manchester for approx 21 hours. We were told by the captain that a cabin crew member had gone sick so they couldn't fly us home on the day they were supposed to hence the delay. Issued a claim to Thomson and after 56 days have a response saying due to exceptional circumstances I am not entitled to compensation. Is there anything I can do, any help gratefully received.

Vaubans guide (linked on the "read this first" thread) everything you need should be covered there. Any follow up questions should be on the Thomson thread

crew sickness is not an extraordinary circumstance. Read the guide and get your letter before action sent.
