Hi all,
Received Martins' automated email this morning, downloaded the code, for later in the week, thinking it would be perfect for my friend.
Briefly, friend has line rental with BT, free weekend calls, with no internet, therefore does not have an email address of her own.
I applied on behalf of her for the code, quoting her name and address,
but I had to use my email address, as thats all we have.
In the small print for Sky, it mentions 1 application per household, and the deal is "not transferrable". Not quite sure what that means.
Does anyone foresee problems with what we have done, when we apply on Friday; I guess that I will have to get a gmail or hotmail account for her tomorrow. I did not spot on the site, that she would get free calls after 7pm or weekends, any thoughts on that?
Thanks in anticipation,
David.

Sky no longer offers free calls. You can have pay as you go, Evening and Weekends Extra(including to mobiles) for £4, Anytime Extra (including mobiles) £8 or International Extra £12.
The middle two are half price on the website, but I doubt that you will be able to combine two offers.0 -
I'm just coming to the end of a similar deal.
I don't think you get free calls.
You will probably have to pay £8 postage charge for the router even if it's not going to be used.
The problem I see is online bill management.0
