Once the developer has finished the development and sold all the houses, they won't be interested either.0

The missives (Scottish version of deeds/covenants?) for my estate forbid the overnight parking of caravans of work vans.

Your property deeds set the rules for your freehold, in which there are probably some conditions about what you can and can't do on YOUR land (e.g. you can't park caravans). NOTHING else can put conditions on your use of your land. The deeds may also say something about the communal areas, e.g. that you have an easement over them to access your property, and maybe a clause giving the management company certain rights over how to control ONLY the communal areas.
The crux is what exactly do those deeds say?0
