    Morning all

My PAD today is the first part of my new fridge freezer - a deposit of £300. Again, paid for with actual money, not a credit card :j Very excited that we are starting to get things sorted for when the house is done.

Thanks for keeping tabs LMD x

Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

    Hi All,

I've been on holiday and therefore MIA. But I have paid £60 to my Barclaycard (mainly because they still took my minimum payment despite the fact that I already paid it through the app and they told me that I don't have to pay anything:mad:!) At least it's going down, but still...

But on a brighter note, I only spent what I had available whilst on holiday and I even came back with a little bit of Euros ! I actually budgeted our excursions, had brought a few staple pieces in my suitcase as we were self-catering and I shopped wisely in the local supermarket whilst on holiday. And I had a great holiday spending some quality time with my son, so a good time away in all.

Dizzy - sorry that you're having to replace such key items, but it must be really great to know that you are not buying things on credit, that's a massive achievement :T

    Keedie,
    xx
