Nearly forgot I hadn't posted yesterday's total yet.

    £770.07

I could do with that to pay off my debts right now - however, have managed £39 so better than nothing. Keedie, I feel you frustration at the miscalculation but you're right to be positive. Giving up is the worst thing we can do but by keeping going we will get there, even if not as quickly as we would hope. Let's keep it up Paddingtons!!

    Dear All
Sorry been missing due to RL.. out of work for a 6 weeks and juggling money about but as soon as first wage comes in at end of July I will get back on board, but in meantime am looking at ways ill be making extra PAD's.
My next credit card to pay off they make it extremely difficult to make extra payments and although I do this by bank transfer they deduct the amount from minimum payment!
Can anyone advise how they have best managed a card like this?
    Thanks x

Hi picklepot - I had one like that, I found that if i set a certain amount to be paid rather than the minimum they still took the certain amount if that makes sense? I worked out that the minimum was between £70-£75 for a few months so I set a DD for £80.00 which they still took regardless of additional payments :)

I was MIA yesterday - OHs birthday and we ended up having a few friends round for BBQ which was lovely, and stayed perfectly on the weekend budget but was a super busy day!

Made a PAD this morning of £10.00 before I tried to go to the shop and realised the car is not working....the battery light is on so I'm hoping having the battery changed will do the trick, but that's £130 we hadn't budgeted for :wall: and they can't come out until tomorrow so may well lose half a days pay :(
