Hiya all
Hope I a, ok to join in, I think I was part of this thread a couple of years ago, and then just fell off the mse bandwagon and although my debt hasn't gone up at the beginning of 2015 DH and I gave ourselves 5years (2020) to pay off the 34500 debt we were in (now £23500 so not doing too bad) and although we have continued to reduce it we haven't really made any extra effort than has been necessary and therefore if we carry on with the payments we are currently paying it will take 6 years instead of 5. So after having read the full thread over the last couple of days I am absolutely determined to get started and get this debt shifted in less than 3 years (hope all that made sense). Anyway put all my info into a snowball calculator and even just paying £32 a month more will help me to achieve this. So 1st debt to smash is my horrid nxt acc which is standing at £932.57. Which according to the snowball should take 13 months to clear. Not on your nelly, am hoping that with padding it will be cleared in 6months which will then leave me free to start on our biggie which will take years to clear
So looking forward to becoming part of the gang, stop lurking and start posting, will be making my 1st post on Jan the firstJan 2025 £26561.43/£0. I want to clear £9000 this year (2025)0 -
