Thanks Erme, I feel better already - although am now off to find someone to make me a cuppa as that pic has given me tea cravings
I've given up on whatstthecost and downloaded a free debt tracking app...not convinced at the moment but I'm sticking with it
£5 for me today pleaseLet’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭0 -
Hi All,
£85 to MBNA for me please. I am not able to PAD now apart from my minimum payments, as I brought a new washing machine as the old one sounded like a helicopter hiding in the kitchen and it started to leak... I'm glad that I didn't buy it on credit, but my emergency fund has all but ceased to exist now
what's your debt tracking app Kirsty? I only have my home-grown spreadsheet, but it would be nice to have something on the go as well.Debt Free Diary:- The Mental Debt Struggle
(Original Debt on 15/07/2016 was £33,056.76) 🙈 but Debt Free on 09/02/2025 🎉

It's called debt payoff pro Keedie....I'm not convinved yet. I like the fact that on whatsthecost it would work out my minimum payments but still let me add them in manually so I could see the figure go down, whereas with this it automatically adds the minimum payment.
I may have to try a few before I find one that works for me.Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭0 -

Awe Keedie and Kirsty - please join me on my couch whilst you two hunt for budgeting apps and I wait in for [strike]parcels[/strike] - neither of which are black friday purchases (and last time I looked Royal Fail's website has crashed but one isn't even coming from royal fail but from a courier named after me LOL)
