WASPI Campaign .... State Pensions

My post was solely related to the timing and place of this "support". I did not think it appropriate to highlight a campaign on the back of a horrific murder less than 48 hours later. As I've suggested above there were better ways to show support.
Also rather ironic to read this post from you;
As the difference appears to be lost on you, then I am more than happy to explain the difference.
I am sorry that you are unable to tell the difference between a poster thanking Jo for her efforts to a cause she supports, and that of a career politician whose families have become multi millionaires as a result of the EU gravy train trading on Jo's death to promote remain.
Does that help explain the difference?

No it doesn't. Opinion is subjective. You seem to be jumping onto the bandwagon to express yours in the same way that the OP did. .0 -

You are wrong on the simple basis that I do not support the OPs cause.
What I object to is anyone being bullied. People sometimes do not know that they are bullying, and even less do people like being called "bullies", but that is exactly what is happening.
No one has as yet explained precisely what it is that she has done wrong.
As you seem to know, please explain it.

What has your support or lack of support to WASPI got to to do with you posting that it was shameful for the remain camp to use Jo Cox's death for their own campaign?
You thought that was shameful and I thought the post by Pennylane was inappropriate as it was using her death to promote a campaign.
A bit of double standards. What I object to is anyone being bullied. People sometimes do not know that they are bullying, and even less do people like being called "bullies", but that is exactly what is happening.
Oh please, not the bullying card! Disagreeing with someone is not bullying. No one has as yet explained precisely what it is that she has done wrong.
I've explained it more than once.0 -

Humour me.
Please explain simply in a single sentence what the OP has done wrong.
Thanks.

I do wish people wouldn't equate disagreeing with someone with bullying them - that just betrays the victims of genuine bullying.0 -

Thanks.
Please explain what point she has scored and how she scored it.

Well there is a long thread about her in Discussion Arms - probably would have been more appropriate.
What would be even more appropriate would be to post a message on this Book of Condolence. That way you are paying tribute to Jo Cox and giving support to her family.

Well firstly this is the only thread I've used in recent months and I had no idea there was another thread about Jo Cox on here. I thought the Discussion Arms was a kind of pub-like discussion and I wouldn't have dreamt of looking on there for anything related to such a tragedy.
Secondly, since the tragedy I have seen various groups on TV and radio and social media discussing what a great person she was and how her help was particularly relevant to THEIR cause or charity. These were being talked about within hours of her death, long before I posted that I was thankful for her help with the women's pensions cause.0 -
