I would make the call from a computer, using Skype. It is easy to record sound on a computer.0

There are apps, they effectively record half of the conversation and rely on you putting the volume up loud so the phone can hear itself for the other half.0

or turning the loudspeaker on at full volume0

Years ago I had a nifty Sony dictation type recorder, it used those small tapes that you used to get in answering machines. I had it for meetings so that I could take minimal notes and not miss stuff.
It came with one of those small sucker type microphones that you could attach to a phone or recording.
These days recorders are digital but I wonder if something like that would work on a mobile if you attached the mike near the speaker. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
It depends on your phone and the software that you are running.

I tried many of them, most of them don't work properly for me
Anyways poster has a Windows phone, no Google Play!

Even on Android, call recording apps won't work on many phones unless you put the phone on loudspeaker.0

What version of Windows doe the Nokia run?
You really need is "root" Access to the phone for any good 2-way recording whatever he phone.
Not sure if getting "root" access on Windows phones is generally possible since they lock things down quite tight!
But I've been using a 2-way call recorder for years on my Android phones, but you need ROOT access for it to be any use.
With root access the recording app can link directly into the drivers for the speakers and microphone, recording the call directly. Without root you are left with using the Microphone to pick up both sides which varies with phone and the phones location at the time!
I use "Call Recorder" by Skvalex.
*note*
Windows 10 version for Mobile Phones DOES have an inbuilt call recording function, but it's only enabled on some phones that shipped with Win10 pre-installed.
Currently unknown if it can be enabled on other phones that have been upgraded to Win10.Laters

I would assume that Windows7/10 on most modern hardware will not allow direct recording via sound card. Not even sure it'd allow easy recording of both sides of a Skype conversation with loudspeaker calling enabled. Windows after XP specifically blocks recording from sound card.0
