SSE and TCB/Quidco

Im trying to sign up to the ultrafast fibre and phone via a cashback site, hence need to keep online with the deal.

However every time i type my Postcode/tel no into the SSE website, it tells me to call a number for them to 'get a little more info'?

Anyone else having this? It also occurs when you go direct to the SSE website

Are you putting a space between the two bits of your postcode?

Do you have a BT line, broadband already?

I'm waiting to be connected, however Quidco didn't track and I'm hearing a lot of horror stories about the standard of connection. You may have had a lucky escape!

I get the same. Currently with Sky

Currently with Talktalk. Should be on BT exchange?

I think youre right, i may avoid SSE for now!

From personal experience it only seems to accept your details if you have a phone service being provided by BT or a provider using BT Wholesale.
