Foot Pain - shoes needed
Comments

UPDATE in case it's of any help to anybody else, I have accidently found shoes that are really, really comfortable.
After trying a couple of the suggestions here which people kindly made but which didn't work for me, a friend uneartherd a pair of shoes she'd bought a couple of years ago, had never worn, and donated them to a good cause - ME!
These are an American brand I think, called "easyspirit", many styles available on Amazon (I've got a model called Hopalong with a closed toe - not that I'm actually doing much hopping!).
Size is true but I'd buy half a size larger if wearing socks. Lots of room in the toes and reasonable width.

Definitely branded "easyspirit" inside. They are certainly very similar to some of the Earth Spirit shoes (not heard of them before), I wonder if they market them under different names US/UK?
I'll probably try a pair of those too - reasonable prices.0
