Help with benefits

Hi new to the site would be extremely gratefull for some advice.

I live with my partner and daughter my partner has fibromyalgia and claims pip. I basicaly care for her night and day along with my 2 year old i work 22.5 hours a week but want to care for my partner full time as she is becoming worse in every aspect.

What benefits would i be entitiled to?
Right now we get working tax credits and pip along with child tax credits and my part time wage.

We live in a council house all are bills for the moth are roughly 600 pound including rent.

Anyone got any advice?

Im not sure but its above 300 a month so assuming high rate??

If she is receiving PIP care, you could claim carers allowance.

Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.

WTC would, of course, stop but CTC should increase.

Not necessarily. Depending on income, they may still be receiving full CTC as the WTC elements are reduced first.

If you apply for benefits and are awarded them, ask if you can have them back dated

Worth putting your current income into a calculator (or going to the CAB) to check.
It's possible some HB may be payable now, as your partners PIP is disregarded as income for HB purposes

Defo will apply for them. Should i apply before i quit my job?

Also a dadt question but what is CAB?
