Basil or oregano, not sure what I have in herb plot

Despite looking at photos on the web I cannot be sure what mass of herbs I have, not sure if it is basil or oregano, is there an easy way to know if you are not familiar? I know the obvious ones like mint, sage rosemary etc but never grown basil or oregano before and the herb plot is full of something unknown?

A mass of herbs in the UK will likely be oregano or marjoram (& there are loads of varieties) mostly as basil grown outdoors appears to be near magnetic for slugs...

Either way, crop some, chop some & chuck a test sample into all tomato based sauces. If you like the taste, you're ahead of the game!
