Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone knows if MBNA offer 0% deals to existing customers?
I took out a card with them last year with 0% deal ending in December of this year. I have paid off the balance that I transferred and the balance is currently sitting at zero.
I have called them serval times and they say no offers are available. I have also been using the card and paying off the balance in full by the end of each month.
Any advice would great.
Thanks

They'll write with any offers.0

the short answer is yes, they do.
but they offer different offers, to different customers, over time.
over the years i have known them to be flexible, and prepared to 'do a deal', but they seem to be more rigid nowadays.
another tactic can be to apply for a second card, with a great new deal on, and then, potentially, move your existing limit across to the new card:A0 -

Do what I did recently and apply for another MBNA card. They allowed me to shift part of the credit limit to the new card and the original card remained open with the the remaining credit. Also they said I could at anytime transfer the credit limit from the original card to the new one and then close the first card.
Also by doing i was able to get 0 percent on purchases and 0 percent on balance transfers until December 2017.0 -

They won't budge on the standard 2% fee on my VA card. Coupled with the absence of postal offers for a couple of months now, no offers online, and a recent interest rate hike to 21.9% APR, I'm wondering whether to just get rid of the card (and the £25K limit that's affecting the limits I'm getting elsewhere!).0 -
maybe YB. but i'm loath to give up the high limits ive built up with MBNA and Barclaycard over the years, as getting back to them could be tough going.. the problem is, of course, that we never know.0

The BT fee was 1.5 percent and had to be done in the first 60 days.0 -
I get monthly offers from MBNA, either 0% or something like 4.9% pa LOB. They write, email and text me them!
I do have a balance transfer on there currently, paying just over minimum per month.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

They usually have a offer every month that they email or post to you0

Usually when I stop using credit cards they try to entice me in with a 0% deal! They're never as good as new cards, only a year or so at 0% with like a 3.5% fee. I would suggest if your credit file is good try and apply for another MBNA card for a better deal.0

I nearly always have repeat offers for balance and money transfers.
Last month I didn't and wondered if it was all coming to an end, but just got another offer of 0% or 4.9% for life of balance.
The only trouble is that the fees are usually 4% for balance and 5% for money and that is a large fee, compared to most new cards you might be able to apply for successfully.
But anyone who are unlikely to get another card, than the repeat offers can be very useful.0
