BBC iPlayer Radio & TV License

Does anyone have a definitive answer to this: When the law changes and we will have to subscribe to a TV License in order to watch iPlayer online, even if only catch-up, will we need this for the BBC's iPlayer Radio? I have rubbish FM reception so use the computer to steam BBC Radio instead. I have no TV so only ever use catch-up, which will stop (for BBC programs) when the law changes.
Regardless of my personal opinions or choices, I would imagine this could apply to blind people as well.

In short:
Will we need a TV License to listen to the BBC iPlayer?

Thanks

I sincerely hope that a tv license won't be needed for radio catch up.
Radio license was abolished in the 70's for good reason

Many set top boxes record radio too

Recoding radio via a radio will be fine. The use of the BBC iPlayer in any form whatsoever won't. Period. And they've been very clear about that. Don't want to pay a TV Licence? Fine. Then just don't consume any BBC content via live TV or the iPlayer. It really couldn't be any clearer.

visionman As much as every thing is speculation at the moment, if its called a TV license why should it be required for radio use.

It would be free, and how much effort I don't know, to use a file sharing site.

My bike uses the road and has wheels, are you saying the ever greedy government should charge me a road tax too?

Or should I be charged a parking fee for locking my bike to a lamp post too?

Going forward, the use of the BBC iPlayer will require a licence fee. Period.

Don't complain to me, james, I didn't write the new rules.
