BT broadband messing me about

Hey I need some advice. I have switched from Talktalk to BT broadband, my start date was meant to be Thursday but they messed up at head office and then told me it would be Friday now there telling me that theres is a problem with my telephone line and it might cost me 129quid to fix. Considering my Talktalk fibre optic broadband was working fine I find this hard to believe. My talktalk broadband also continues to work even though BT told me that it shouldn't be anymore now that I switched. I complained and they basically seem like they dont care and have said it wont be fixed till this friday and have left me without wifi for a week which I need for my work. Any advice where to go next?
