Leaving Vodafone - Best sites for searching new deals

Morning

In 2 weeks I will finally be Vodafone free. I have my PAC code and have an idea of where I am going next but wanted to first understand if there are any better deals out there.

What sites do people use to look for best pay monthly deals?

I want a Samsung Galaxy S7, 600 minutes , 600 texts, 2gb data. Either on EE or, silly as it sounds, if the price is right, Vodafone.

Currently I have one deal I am looking at that has me buying the Galaxy outright from a well known shop and then going on half price BT sim (EE network), average £26 pm over 2 years.

Alternatively I can get a 24 month contract with a provider that uses the Vodafone network for £32 pm.

Vodafone retention offered me £36 pm, that is not happening. Despite they acknowledged I'd been with them for 6 years.

So, what sites do you all use to search good deals? I've been on Carphone Warehouse and uSwitch and also all the cashback sites too.

Many thanks

eta: - What are the views on some of the companies such as TopMobile.co ? If mid way through a contract with them they go kaput what happens to my contract with, for example, EE? Thank you

You don't say how much this half price sim would cost so how can we compare?

If you buy from a third party retailer your contract is still with the network ( EE ) so there would be no problem UNLESS YOU TAKE A CASHBACK OR FREE GIFT DEAL.

    Many thanks Keith.

Apologies, the sim is currently £5 per month . I was sent a link from BT as I am on broadband and TV with them.

Thank you around the reassurance of the third party retailer. No gift nor cashback involved. That is good news.

    I don't think you'll get any better than £5/month.

If you are buying the handset outright, I'd suggest going for a 30 day sim only deal - this has flexibility.

    Thank you Heng Leng.

That is certainly one of my favoured options at the minute unless a contract works out significantly cheaper.
