Cancelling BT broadband, removing discount before calculating final fee

Options
I can now get fibre in my area and want to upgrade, but what BT is offering is full price and £60 for line rental, total tv, and 52mb unlimited.

I phoned up and they have advised I have 10mths left on my broadband which I pay £4 a month after discount(ADSL upto 17mb), but they say I have to pay the full price over the remaining 10mths if I cancel bringing it to nearly £200.

Is this standard, can I have fibre and just keep my bt one running at £4 for 10mths somehow, and I haven't received this price change cancellation letter people are talking a out, or is that only for line re talk.

Thank

Jim
