Hi... I'm wondering if anyone can help give me any ideas.. Basically I've had a big unexpected bill come in and I'm now left with £60 to feed me and my kids till the end of the month. I'm sure it can be done
I don't spend lots of money on food shopping anyway, but I'm a little worried how I'm going to manage, so any ideas and recipies would be appreciated.
I don't have a big "sore cupboard and my children are quite basic eaters (nothing too fancy or too much flavour) but I'm open to ideas.
Many many thanks in advance.

Ironic, there is a thread in this forum about living on £60 worth of food for the month.
Worth a look.
Usual suggestions really would be rice, potatoes and pasta dishes. All cost effective and very filling. Homebrands an essential help here also, such as tuna, soups (homemade an option) and reduced daily fruits. Special offer/reduction isle at your local supermarket before closing results in some really good offers.
Stumbled upon full roast chickens for 50p and peking duck halves for 60p.
Im sure many suggestions will come and at a quick rate.
