Accepting viewings whilst under offer???

  • Just viewed and I want it, the buyers made an offer 3 weeks ago and still haven't shown any evidence of funding, that's why they have accepted more viewings. I am speaking to the EAbtomorrow and will be making an offer, I have funds and mortgage in principle all in place...

    Wish me luck...
  • Good luck.

    Great news! :T
Does this house need much work?

  • The lady who owns it is 84 and she has had it since new in 1996, i walked in and the walls are immaculate just need paint. It has new UPVC windows, new condensing boiler, cavity walls just been done and all new fencing in the last year.

It's obviously her taste but i could move in and just take my time unlike the other ones i'd looked at, i am well happy.

Only thing is its not detached but i'm still well happy with my new home (shouldn't be any issues going forward)

    Even better!
Tbh when you posted up the other 3 houses and asked which one to choose I thought none of them. Not because of how they looked but you know when you find the right one.
The fact you didn't post this one online is because, unlike the other houses, this time you knew so didn't need to ask.
    Hope that makes sense. :o
Hope you and your daughter will be very happy there.

Thanks and also was worried in case someone else grabbed it lol...
  • Not sure if its me being impatient but after having my offer accepted, i wanted the house off the market asap.

EA said they need proof of funding first so sent them my MIP and spoke to our solicitor (11:30) who is selling our home to let her know she would be getting a call or email from the EA asking for proof of funds from house sale.

Spoke to EA this morning and no nothing back from solicitor so home is still on market...
