Flight prices gone down - can I cancel payment and the rebook (paid on credit card)?

Hi all
I made a booking for a flight 6 days ago. It's for three people and it is with Ryan Air. I paid by credit card.
The flight prices have now gone down and I'm a bit gutted that I "pulled the trigger" too early.
But I wondered if there is a way I can cancel the booking and then rebook (or one of the other people I am going with can book them). Does the cooling off period you sometimes get with credit card payments apply to flights or are they different?
I know I might have to just swallow it, but thought it was worth asking!
Many thanks
Max

No way to cancel without losing full payment. If they'd have gone up I'm guessing you wouldn't be asking if there was anyway you can pay more for them? The Consumer Contracts Regulations section about cancelling services does not apply to flights.0

Thanks for the advice and the clarifications. I thought that would probably be the case but also thought it was worth an ask....you wouldn't moan if they went upleylandsunaddict wrote: »If they'd have gone up I'm guessing you wouldn't be asking if there was anyway you can pay more for them?
This is a "money saving" forum, so no - I guess not... I was just seeing if there was a possibility to save money!0
