  • Hope things starting to improve for you Kim. I guess a new diary is an option but honestly you should do what you want to. There are no rules on this forum. Posting on the bankruptcy section may help in that there are others following the same journey.

    Any luck with house hunting?

    Hi Kim,

You might get more answers to questions over on the bankruptcy forum but you know you have a good number of supporters here. You are still going down a route which will lead to financial freedom, so it's completely your call :)

Hi Kim! How are you doing? Are you sleeping any better?

    Hi all, how's everything?

I imagine you would get more specific advice on the bankruptcy board, Kim (are people horrible on there? I think we've all had enough of that) but personally, I have probably spent too much of my life filing to give a monkey's chuff who posts what where. I like it here, myself, but it is your diary, after all, so your call. We will all bow to the will of The Kim. ;) Get used to it, babe.

Still a debt free wannabe from the student loan. They're not written off in bankruptcy.

    (I think.)

If you are happy for me to stay here then TBH I would rather stay here in the comfort of my little diary.
Things are going great I guess.
had a terrible time with the ex this weekend (my other children, not the babys daddy) so I have decided to change my number and cut him out completely.
I'm sick of being messed around and he left a ream of messages on my voicemail that were just plain nasty and I can do without it. The kids are sick of being messed about and they really need stability in their lives and not him being a complete £$%&.
Financially, I'm drawing up a revised budget, taking into account the car, which is actually really economical on fuel and with £20 I managed the whole week of 3 school runs per day as DS is on half days to 2 different settings and shopping trip/ taking kids to clubs etc.
I will now be doing my shopping at aldi, with theodd exception when I need something that aldi doesn't have stocked which I will try to get in bulk via a delivery from Tesco/sainsbobs with free delivery code.
I am just ironing out my CV and I'm on the hut for a nice part time job to fit into school hours and/or set hours so I can plan childcare etc.
I'm completely shattered from the last week, but I'm getting there and just looking forward to the week ahead and I'm going to be taking full advantage of all the free baby groups/ classes on offer at my local childrens centre now that term has started.
    hope everyone is well
    K+8.
    PM - missed u smod. x

Bless you, Kim, I missed you, too. I think it is admirable that you are so determined to find a job when you have a tiny baby; how many would?

There is nothing to prevent you posting on the bankruptcy board as well/instead if you like. You decide.

I think, if you tell your mobile phone provider you are getting abusive calls from your ex, they can give you a new number (is it a SIM?) free of charge. Lay it on thick if you have to. We had our landline number changed for free aeons ago for this reason.

How is the house hunting going? Best of luck with that and the job search.

    Cheers for now,

These days mobile providers should be able to change the number without changing the sim. Arrangements vary but I know that giffgaff allow customers to change their number online themselves once, no questions asked. Hopefully your operator has similar as they otherwise seem keen to tell you to block the number (which wouldn't help necessarily as he could just get another number and start over again.)

For the best I think; he has no qualms about upsetting his own children so no doubt he'll enjoy trying to create a divide when Ezra is older.

His number is blocked, but he does exactly that, calls from withheld number or a payphone etc. Even when blocked you can still leave a voicemail so my phone beeps to say I have a voicemail and when I listen its him ranting down the phone. I am totally done with it all.
I don't need any of that negativity in my life, I need to just cut it out and stop caring because then I cant get hurt, the kids cant get hurt and we can all move on.

Like I know from mobile phones, never had one so thanks for the correction, Kim_13. It sounds easier than I had thought. Is there no facility to bar withheld numbers as there is with a land line?

Yep, kon mari that illegitimate, Kim, he belongs down the city tip, methinks. :D:cool:

i would def look at changing your number, explain to the phone company and they should be able to help.

Sorry to ask but does his rants contain any threats - if they do get them logged asap with the police, even if its a for evidence etc - something you may want to consider xx
