Whatsthe best deal for one month WIFI ?

Im moving into a new build flat later in the month and the line/internet wont go live for one week of being in the property
so im looking at WIFI dongles/MIFI so i can access the internet through a mobile provider to use my desktop pc for surfing the net
a wifi dongle would suffice as only the pc will need wifi but looking around there only seems to be SIM's to put in a tablet
does anyone know of a provider which supply the modem or allow tethering through the ipad so i can get online on the desktop during these 7 days?
and being a fellow money saver, am looking for the best price for a one month pay-as-you-go deal or one month contract
so far ive seen giffgaff offer a sim for ipad - £7 1gb one month contract, but id have to tether the wifi so my pc can access it

In the next few months or so EE will offer Summer Sim with 100gb of Data for 2 months for a one off £10 top up. You can pick up an EE Mifi router for £22 on eBay.
As your need is immediate I would look for the strongest signals you can find from neighbours, get yourself an AC router off eBay (I got mine for £33) and ask if you could borrow their wifi for a week. Have your router log into theirs and boost their signal to around your house. Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
If any of your neighbours are with BT Broadband you can connect to their public WiFi signal which shows up as BTWifi-with-FON. Prices are here http://www.btwifi.co.uk/0
