Over two years ago I came here in distress (update)

Nobody will remember me from such a long time ago. I came here in distress after breaking up with my boyfriend because of my anxieties about my scars.

Many wonderful people from this website helped me. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to open up to him, saving my relationship.

I'm pleased to announce on Saturday. I am going to become his wife.

If anyone who helped me back then is still here. I would like to thank you so much for helping me. Your help changed my life.

Thank you xxx

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

At my wedding 3 years ago it was so cold I was my own something blue but I didn't care and now it's a funny anecdote to our wedding story

Aww brought tears to my eyes :)

Just remembered my mum has scars mainly on her arm from pouring a pan of boiling water over herself when she was a little girl. I never give it any thought!

Anyway, so happy for you - what lovely news. Hope the sun shines on you both in more ways than one :)
