AHF in court for selling "Calf Suede" sofa!

On 15th June I am taking AHF to court as I bought a "Calf Suede" sofa which turns out to be microfiber?

The swatches said "Calf Suede" & so did my invoice but Matt Hesketh the MD still says he has done nothing wrong and is still advertising them as calf suede?

Luckily Trading Standards are on my side and press are very interested and are coming to court too so lets see how it goes but I only realised as there had been other posts on their facebook page about false goods!

Is the microfiber not the filling of the cushions? Usually you can choose foam or fiber interior but the exteriors are whatever the swatch says they are?

i went in there looking at sofas, they were trying to flog me a bonded leather sofa, passing it off as real leather, they probably convince some people who don't know about leather sofas

Presumbly yes, that is why they are taking them to court, they didn't receive the suede they ordered.

No it actually shows swatches of "calf suede" material.

TS cannot reveal what or if any action they take they just say "we may look into it"?

Never smelt calf suede but material was lovely and soft!

I think what people are asking is what makes you think it isn't suede? How do you know it isn't?
