So Microsoft and Google don't have a solution like this?
I don't know if I can trust other companies. Last time I trusted Bitcasa, which failed miserably.0 -
Yes I do understand what you're saying.
Do you understand what "fetching files" means?
If you dont need to fetch files from another P.C then you could put the folders and files that you want to backup into your OneDrive folder. Then you use these files/folders in OneDrive as the original location. As in, edit them from there!
If you want to keep the original folder locations, you could try using Symbolic links, but I'm not sure if that works with OneDrive.
No I don't know what fetching means, I know that in plain english it means getting.0 -
Yes but not as flexible. So Microsoft and Google don't have a solution like this?
I also had a Bitcasa account and a SugarSync account but their business models changed as did Microsoft's. If you know about Bitcasa then I am inclined to think you know the answer to your question but are just acting dumb. Google for the best cloud provider and then do a bit of leg work from there.I don't know if I can trust other companies. Last time I trusted Bitcasa, which failed miserably.IITYYHTBMAD0 -
There are aggregators, some of them free that will allow you to combine multiple and manage multiple cloud storage accounts. Don't know tons about how well they work though.
Examples would be Multcloud, Zeropc, Otixo. These ones all offer free versions. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Write a batch file that checks if a specified file has changed, and if it has then copy it into your dropbox folder.
I dont have time/ cant be @assed at the moment but if you struggle then drop me a PM and ill write one for you.
Then just put it in your scheduled tasks
