Virgin Media - business or consumer package

Our damp string with BT is getting slower and is now down to 4Mb/s versus the 8Mb/s when we got ADSL 2+ a few years ago. Changing router doesn't help, connecting directly to master socket ditto, and BT say line OK. Time to move.
We can get Virgin Cable and we're looking at two options.
1) Super 50 Fibre Broadband and calls.£19pcm for Broadband, £17.99 for phone line, unlimited weekend calls to geographic, 0870 and Virgin Mobile numbers. So, £37 and then it's an extra £8 to £15 to get addition call types included. Total probably around £45pcm.
2) Superfast Broadband 50 Bundle
£15 for Broadband, £15 line rental, £10 to add unlimited calls, which includes non-Virgin mobiles, but VAT needs adding, so total £48. However, this includes business level SLA, lots of other services and FIXED IP!
Does anyone know of any reason not to go for option (2)? Fixed IP will be great, and the £3 difference could easily be made up with just a few calls outside package (1).
Thanks

I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

Don't you actually have to be a Business in order to qualify for a business line?gadgetmind wrote: »Does anyone know of any reason not to go for option (2)? Fixed IP will be great, and the £3 difference could easily be made up with just a few calls outside package (1).0 -

Don't let inclusive calls to 0845 and/or 0870 numbers sway your decision.
Customer services, financial services, public services and healthcare services are no longer allowed to use 084, 087 or 09 numbers.
Chances are you will never need to ring an 084 or 087 number.
Some deals now include calls to mobile numbers from landlines. This option may be far more valuable.0 -
Have you heard yourself? £45 for bb & Tel ?
I'm sure you can get a better VM deal here for option 1:
http://www.uswitch.com/broadband/packages/
note it rises in latter months, but still...
EE charge £3 for unlimited calls.
TalkTalk £5
Just shows you what a rip off VM are.0
