  • Hello lovelies.

Sorry I didn't mean to be Moany. I just mean all these people that post and then then I say hello! welcome! And then they go! Forever!

    Almost NSD today.
Just £6.50 spent over 2 days
But Saturday and Friday was a lot of pub.
    Tommorow is quick pub visit.
Then none for ages. And a time of sobriety. And September a month of self improvement. Yes will see how that goes. xxx

I'm looking forward to September too, new budget and new school year. It's great being off work but I do miss the routine.

I would love to agree but in the interests of honesty I have to say that overall the debt has gone up from the start- but the loan is gone and that's good.
    I have a plan but it's slow.
    .

At least you have a plan and if most of your debt is at 0% then every payment you make will be reducing it. right now I don't know how I'm going to pay the debt back, although I'm sure I'll work something out once my youngest starts school and I go back to work.
  • god, i'd love a month of self improvement! Reckon I'd need about 6 months!!!!

  • It's OK cumbria. Been paid but not paid any bills which i always find stressful.
At home this weekend studying and cleaning. Both much needed.
Not very much money this month at all. So will need to have some time at home. Especially as there is some social happening in September.
Bringing lunch in all week (4 days)
Meeting friend Wednesday for a drink.
Then meeting friend In London Saturday. and Sunday with family. So quite busy start to September. And still haven't emptied the freezer so still trying to do that but not there yet. So lots of meals at home this week
Apart from Saturday and possible McDonald's Wednesday depending on timings.
Very glad to be off tommorow. Predict a tough few weeks at work so just trying to keep things low key and keep going.
I think I am the most concerned about money I have ever been - but a bit of me thinks this is a good thing as long as it is temporary and doesn't last forever.

  • sounds like you have it under control though. I love weekends at home pottering - hate going out these days! If it's any consolation, I'm also finding work v tough at the moment - try to think of it as a means to an end x
  • Low spend today but did head to pub at the weekend. And my friend showed me her very expensive handbag and I was green with envy.

Home tonight and out tommorow. Trying hard to be good.

You never know. She may be in debt for that handbag. Or have saved mercilessly. And it's only a handbag. It will just get wee on it when she puts it on the pub toilet floor. And she will worry about scuffing it.
