Well done on the nsd. Can you keep your planned activities within the £200 ish you have available? Just 5 more loan payments before you have the £153 available for all those good things!
I hope another 0% cc comes up when you need it. If you can get a no fee bt that would save you the £80 in interest which is almost another hairdresser trip! Verbatim I love this post. I wrote a response but slow typing got it deleted- it was boring anyway.
Basically I am trying so hard. Took today off and it helped. London pressure is fiercest in spring so nice to be at home.
But boy I know through a friend asked me to go for drink and MSE side says it's a bad idea and will cost money and be stressful. Other side says go. He is ok but likely more friend than dating.
I spent £18 in m and s today. Forgot how expensive it is, not been in for ages. It was nice tho.
Getting there slowly but realistically probably will go over onto the overdraft but genuinely temporarily whilst travel costs and some other. It's are high this month.

Your updates are never boring PSL, I love your diary!
It must be so hard living in London with all the temptation. I have friends there and judging by social media they never eat a meal at home and always out for drinks, which are never a basic glass of wine, all fancy lovely looking cocktails!! You never know about the boy who's asked you for some drinks and nothing to lose! Yeah the odd trip to M&S is a treat these days, but genuinely always tastes better!Starting debt £18,675.63

Nice to see you back Ramble. Isn't life all a bit wild. Hope things are going well in your world? Are you starting a new diary or just popping in for now. I miss your updates but I know it can help to take a break too.
I will definately be in the overdraft this month. I bought some furniture for my flat. It will improve quality of life at home as things have been a bit shabby for a while but these things are not cheap. And I maybe should have waited but i don't think I will regret the purchases.
Going to put off getting carpets to next year. It's a slow project on the flat. I sometimes think I should have bought a new build but didn't have a great amount of choice in the area I wanted.
Really tempted to use The new holiday allowance and escape work but at least Easter is coming. I also do recently have a massive feeling that I want to get a tattoo. I may do over Easter but I am scared of the pain. The permance is ok as I was going to get it on my ankle which is hardly ever seen by anyone except me. It's not very MSE. I do wonder what position I will be in - 10 years from now if I will get things sorted or if I will always struggle
In this way.
I was trying to find the paper work today for my Halifax credit card. I can't remember when the 0% expires. When it does the rate goes up to 30%. That is whopping so I need to make sure I can get on top of it.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Reality I meant to say that I was thinking the other day how everyone in my office can manage to do all the things they do. Apart from the ones funded by parents.
I would like to meet someone poor that doesn't expect us to go to ridiculous pretentious restaurants but it does seem to be becoming the norm-for London at least.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

they are probably all living on credit PSL. Knowing the industry I worked in in London, I always did everything and probably gave the impression I could afford it, but the reality was I was in loads of debt and living off the bank and credit card companies.
It's really hard not to compare yourself to others and think they are handling things "better" but you just don't know what's going on behind closed doors.
You're doing well. You're alive to your issues and you are trying to take steps to handle them and change them. From time to time you may make decisions which you later think "wish I hadn't spent that" but all you can do is start again. And you have to live. I think sometimes you spend more when single as you go out more.
Like the idea of a tattoo but I've never been brave enough! My brother has loads, including our surname across has back like a blinking footballer - I always joke it's in case he forgets his name!0 -
I'm probably not brave enough Coastal but wil see.
I forgot I have to pay for electrics this month. I'm scared there is something wrong as they look like they are untouched for many years so that will be expensive especially if there is something wrong.
Lots of family things this weekend, not sure of costs and then next week should be quite frugal. The furniture and the electrics are once-off costs at least.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
