I wouldn't cancel any of those either.
Maybe saying no to any other invites that crop up this month would be a way forward?0 -
Cheese on toast for tea. Always a winner. Extra points lydl bread and iceland cheese and ketchup.

Love cheese on toast.
Your parents will be fine with a little delay in their payment especially this time of year.

A bit of a rambling post.
Since payday i have all my spending (bar cash purchases) in one place as I have stopped using the credit card as it is cut in half.
This shows
Tesco £21.80 (cleaning and toiletries as well as food)
Debt payments £807* sounds better than it us
Misc spending £97, 1 event, shoes, toiletries
£862 bills, not all finished yet, few more to go
£58.20 socialising- not a marker of the rest of month, an extreme week
Emergency fund £80* not for spending
£130 in purse
£81 in bank after bills paid
£100 owed to me
149 days of loan
23 to payday
60 to 2017 which will be better.
Trying so hard to be on target.
Really want to get my hair put up or curled or something, I am going to 2 things where there is likely to be millions of photos and so tempted to book an appointment before both.
Plus a few books I want to buy and always the temptation to buy clothes and facials and treatments. At least freezer is well stocked but do need bread, milk, cheese, butter this week. Will try to hold out till friday.
Thursday and friday lunches out. Today was just lunch out. Will get there, just slowly.
New years resolutions. Top of the list cut down on lunches.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

148 days to end of loan
22 to payday.
Getting there.
No nsd today, made lunch last night but forgot to put in fridge and didn't want to risk it so need to pick up sandwich. Rubbish but better than food poisoning.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

Paying for a sandwich is way better than making yourself ill my sweet, there is no worse feeling than food poisoning.
148 days!!! Eeeeeeek
You have a good day.

dolly you are right. It feels like a tough week and it did upset me a bit, but could have been worse. But it is going to happen sometimes and we just need to bounce back and carry on dont we. Cant get upset every time something doesn't go our way.
Lunch out today and tommorow. Then just one next week then none till December and even then minimal and none organised by me! Im going to plead poverty (which seems to be more socially acceptable in January and december).
Countdown is
147 days to end of loan
21 days to payday
24 to next loan payment
MB £7800
Saind £2944 (under) £3k barrier)
Halif £1854
Loan £1685
Hsbc worse than it should be but plan to pay off in new year.
Home tonight and tommorow.
Saturday going out because if I don't have some fun I am going to go mad. Then back to normal sunday.
Tesco today £12 milk, butter, bread, toothbrush, flatbread, and chocolate (silly will never lose any weight)
Plus lunch £19- done now
From sunday i will have a good and productive week.
£105 in purse
£50 in bank account after bills yet to pay
£100 owed to me.
Not an insignificant amount of money and I SHOULD be able to do it without any hardship. Kitchen is full of food so i wont starve. Just need to get through it. Need to include some travel as oyster has run out of money too quickly. It will be ok. xxx2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

hey PSL. I feel just like you at times - I am sure when I was younger, difficult times were easier to deal with, or maybe I just had less difficult times? I don't know. But as my mum says, nothing ever stays the same, so we do just have to bounce back.
I've had a similar dilemma too re lunch out - we have a work lunch today for 2 people leaving. Given I only started in May I don't know them that well anyway but not sure if work is paying and don't really want to be paying £20-£30 for a lunch out. Told them I couldn't make it as had a house viewing (which was true but has now been moved anyway due to the boys movements). Its at 12 - debating whether to go, feel I shouldn't as have expensive nights out on 12th and 18th. But, like you, hate missing out on fun (and food!)
Love reading your diaries though. Wish I could be as disciplined!!!!I want to be a writer0 -
144 to loan end
19 to payday
22 to loan payment day
lulabelle I think like my life is a constant stream of things getting in the way of me paying my debts. On friday my best friend in the world finally got some good news we have been waiting for and I needed to be there to celebrate. It was about £25 but essential, yesterday i went out with friends, we spent a good bit. I think about £40. Then today I am doing things that dont involve spending although will do food shop if I have time.
Wish it was going better.
Next week will be frugal, 1 lunch out, 1post work drink. Nothing else. Take lunch in 4 days.
Need to get it together a bit more than I have been.
A few big spends coming up on the horizon too so not sure how things are going to go.
Out of the overdraft and made payments to all the accounts.so ok for the moment. Just need to have a quiet week and hope nobody asks me to do anything.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

Hi PSL,
I've been following but haven't posted before.
I'm confused! Your signature says your loan ends Oct 17 but your countdown says only 144 days. Shouldn't it be something like 330 days,(haven't worked it out exactly)?
