Barclaycard 25/25 - general advice?

Hi all,
I recently applied for the Barclaycard 25/25 and was accepted. I've only ever used a subprime CC (Aqua) so just want to make sure I am using the Barclaycard correctly and efficiently.
I will be mainly using this card to make purchases for our wedding next year and plan to pay everything in full each month although it's nice to have some breathing space.
I will also balance transfer ~£250 from my Aqua card. I don't really have to do this but I thought that would make use of the 0% BT offer. I don't plan to use my Aqua card or do another Barclaycard BT in the future anymore.
Is there something else that I should/should not be doing? Thanks!

Why take out a 0% purchases card for 25 months if you are going to repay the balance every month?

The main reason I went for this card is for the long 0% period for purchases. I do plan to pay in full as often as I can but at least I could have some flexibility.
It comes with the 0% BT so I guess the issue is that I am not sure if I have to perform a BT to qualify for the above. If that's the case then the £250 I am planning to BT will cost me about £6 in fees, still a good trade off (I think) compared to the 34% interest on my Aqua card!
Does anyone know?0
