Off work tonight do had a bath, UU 2 items:

Lush Somewhere over the rainbow bath bomb- WBA because it's so pretty and does look nice when it first goes in the water, leaves coloured trails everywhere, however the scent wasn't that strong and the colour eventually ended up a very pale orange. Would still buy it though because I'm shallow and it's a rainbow and it's so pretty haha!! Have more of these in stash.

Super drug tropical cocktail peel off mask- WBA this smelled okay and is the best peel off one I've used. It actually dries properly and I could peel it all off. Felt very satisfying to peel it off. Will get another of these sometime if they still stock this one.

2 ins today too - 2 lush roller bath bombs :grinheart:

Thanks for the welcome! I used to be The Oxford Owl but since I stopped blogging I no longer have that email address so needed a new account :) I recognise a few faces but not sure if you'll remember me!

Repainted my nails last night with a beautiful purple, A England's Lady of the Lake. I had to chuck out a different one that had dried up, so I need to make the effort to use my polish more! Are we still doing a weekly polish challenge?

    UUs so far...

    1. Future Primitive Elijah's Comfort
    2. Solstice Scents Sun Warmed Honey
    3. A England Ascalon :(

Welcome back! Glad you made it back to us, yes, I remember you. :D

My body cream is on its way to me, nothing else to report.
Apart from it being a very quiet day at home due to the spectacularly laxative effects  of a detox tea that was supposed not to be laxative! :(
Luckily said effects passed quickly as I always have tummy tablets in.

Need to find a new deoderant, had previously used Mitchum spray, but the changed the nozzle and I've had problems trying to get them to spray ever since.

I'm glad it's not just me!

I like Dove deodorants and Fenjal roll-on, I'm also happy to use Nivea (except Double Effect, very damp spray!) and Vaseline. HTH.

Let's hope this works. Here are my 7 by Autumn.

    https://goo.gl/photos/snZ43QfXzMNYeq9g8

The first of my 7 by Autumn items has gone:-

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation. As mentioned I turned this upside down yesterday however this morning I opened the bottle scraped the product from around the pump tube and found that nothing came out when I shook the bottle up and down and banged it against my palm. Looking into the bottle it looked like the only product left was clinging to the sides.

Have used Bare Minerals Bareskin foundation this morning. 'The colour is good but the consistency is really thin. I tried applying it to the back of my hand first but it was too runny. Then applied it directly to my sponge and most of it absorbed into it. I've seen on QVC that BM sell a unique brush for applying this but I won't be investing. The coverage was ok although I could feel the serum and I have ended up topping it with both Maybelline Dream BB Cream and Laura Geller Balance N Brighten to set. Will try to keep using this as I don't want to buy any foundation this month.

Thought I would also bump up my PP list to see how I'm going:-

[STRIKE]Essie Good to go top coat
    Bath and Body Works pocketbac
    [/STRIKE]Various sample sachets
    Various eye masks
[STRIKE]Juicy Couture Couture La La perfume sample[/STRIKE]
    Liz Earle IBST 200ml
    [STRIKE]Lush Porridge soap[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clinique Highlights mascara
    Benefit Sunbeam highlighter
    [/STRIKE][STRIKE]L'Occitane Bon mere rose soap[/STRIKE]

Not doing too badly. The Liz Earle IBST will be used up next. I have still not made any attempt to use the sample sachets and need to try harder here.

I have another perfume sample that I have started using which is the Liz Earle No 20. It's nice. MRM especially likes it. Maybe I'll buy a bottle when I've used up another fragrance.

Sadly I had bought a few before I realised so will have to find someone to palm them off onto. Thanks I will have a look at you suggestions.

  • Couple more UUs for me
Aveda pure abundance shampoo 1l - lhj, this has taken me 14/15 months to finish. WMBA but didn't notice too much extra volume for fine hair. Have got the clove one to use so will see if I notice any difference.

Elemis pro radiance cream cleanser 30ml - found this in a bag I haven't used for 6mths+. WBA but have found a tube of this in the same bag so will use that up as feels quite empty. I also have a 200ml tube in stock. :(
