Have been to Superdrug at lunch as Emma has run out of E45 Intense body lotion. The smaller bottles were on offer so bought 2, bought 2 x cotton wool pads as these are on offer and, following a recommendation from another forumite, bought MUA Cupcake blusher. Am hoping this is good dupe for Tarte Exposed.

IN - Una Brennan Superfacialist Vitamin C eye cream - tried this and it's quite nice so pleased with that.

Extremely slow on the UU front. I've cut up a hand cream and a face cream, but I've been busy with life and they're just not shifting! Used the goldy maybelline gel nail polish and I L O V E it, lasting so well and will be perfect for my holiday.

What's really annoying is when you find the HG foundation and the whole brand closes. Pines for Prescriptives Blue-Red Porceliane all over again. Everything else is always just a bit too orange or yellow:( Even when you ask the counter lady for the vampire shades.

I used to be Prescriptives Red Vellum. I use Max Factor Facefinity 3 in 1 Foundation in Light Ivory, very pale with no yellow tones.

I agree about the Avon colours - they are crazily yellow, the only one with pinker tones is the Ideal Flawless I think.

A lot of new ones have been launched in the last year, maybe try a colour trend one as they tend to be lighter shades ;) I can have a look and see what's coming out if you like, for either of you, post what colours you use of other brands and I'll see what there is!

I do agree with the new CC powder though, it comes out so orange I've had to go to the lightest shade and I normally wear beige colours!

I used to be an Avon rep too and never found anything I liked but I do love the Max Factor one so am sticking with that for work and Revlon Colourstay for weekends. Thanks though.

Fair enough, I have found I prefer their skincare to the make-up, at least foundation wise as they don't do a similar powder to my favourite L'Oreal True Match!

Don't think I remembered to declare this yesterday but all gone anyway:

Loreal elnett satin heat protect spray straight - WBA smells pleasant and does the job. Not the cheapest though. But it did last a long time. The only disappointing thing was that the pump got clogged/broke when 3/4 was used and couldn't spray it anymore so had to put some in my hands and run it through my hair instead. Got more heat protect stuff in stash so will find something to replace this dont need to re purchase any yet.

    ETA: another UU just now...

Boots extracts coconut body butter 50ml- WBA lovely smell and consistency - nice and thick but rubbed in easily and moisturised really well. Think I have more in this scent in stash. Enjoyed using this one. Replaced it with NSPA cherry blossom and rice milk whipped body cream.

Is anyone else feeling freezing tonight? It's supposed to be summer and yet I'm in bed in winter pjs under my duvet and debating putting a fleece on. Should be in my summer pjs with a blanket at the most by now :(

Gemzie - it was chilly last night and no better this morning, the kids were really cold when they got up but I'm not putting the heating on 1/2 way through June.

I never seem to feel warm however today, stupidly, I've left the cardi at home.

Another UU though : L'Occitane Verbena liquid soap. A firm favourite in our household. I have moved the smaller container of this up to the bathroom from the kitchen and placed one of the Sanctuary Spa handwashes in the kitchen.

The new MUA blusher is gorgeous and my new Tarte Park Princess bronzer arrived yesterday. Equally gorgeous.

Painted my nails on Wednesday night and am wearing OPI Scores a Goal (very topical eh?) however I've decided I'm not in love with this colour plus I think it's starting to harden up so I've chucked it. Yay me.
