Samsung fridge freezer ice dispenser fault

Hi,
Our Samsung RSG5U has developed a fault and Samsung technical support aren't open on the weekend so I'm hoping someone here can help.
The ice dispenser flap is opening and closing continually. I've turned the fridge/freezer off at the plug and turned it on (apparently this resets the control panel?) but it's still doing it. I've also emptied the ice out and no change.
Can anyone help?

Can't help directly but have u looked in manual (if u don't have a copy the can get one from Samsung website)...

Thanks, looked in manual and tried all the obvious stuff like resetting the ice maker and turning the whole FF off for 10 mins..............no joy

I have the earlier model where you can set the ice to off, if you can do this on yours it might stop the flap from operating, just a guess though.

Thank you for your reply. Tried turban the ice off too and it still does it, been doing it all night 😁 I guess I'll have to wait until I can speak to Samsung tomorrow... Thanks again
