 Yeah ????????? Reconditioned ..so what

Clearly states Reconditioned in the heading and Please Note : This is a reconditioned product but comes complete with a full 3 month warranty in the short description. They're not pulling the wool over anyones eyes. Mine's perfect and works fine.

    An outstanding bargain

    ditto .
  • Ordered Sunday, and it came Wednesday.

It was tuned to some channels not available near me, but who is to say this is not where the refurb factory is based?

Anyway, it had no significant marks or knocks, and is 'as new'

It is easy to operate, with the basic function buttons and nothing complicated. You don't need the instructions - which are well written and detailed. The display is good and gives good channel info. Ten presets are a bonus, but you can set it to sort and display the channels in the order of the ones which you listen to the most, first.

Sound wise, reception is good and clear - like all DAB. But this is dependant on your location. I am in a good reception area, so I don't know what it is like in a poor reception area.
You can compare similar channels on DAB ond on FM, and you probably won't bother with FM again - unless you need to. It seems to lack bass, but that's probably just pedantic. As a normal radio it does the job well.
You can connect external speakers for better stereo and bass, and also connect to a hi-fi.

I paid £10, but even at the £15 price, it is still a good, cheap DAB radio. By the looks of things, this is similar to other units selling for around £30

    Edit

You can't connect external speakers, I thought it had L/R speaker outlets but these are phono outlets. You can connect it to a hif-fi though.

DONT connect speaker via the Headphone Socket I think that what u ment) LACKs Bass? on a tiny portable? fed mine to a hi fi via audio sockets-plenty of Bass.!PS i dont believe these are refurbished, as wouldnt the cabinets be marked? why would they bother to refurbish, then sell for £10?

Yes crystal clear listening right now to Jon Gaunts words of wisdom about the country being full up :D
  • Great little radio, although its not easy to find the stations when looking for them as some of the display seems to be missing, but its fine when tuned. Wont bother returning it as I think its still a bargain.
