Good for you Lollyred, you seem to be way ahead with your menu planning...have you a budget that you need/would like to stick to, it can be helpful I find, in curbing those moments of madness when you are in the supermarket and something which is not on your list catches your eye...you know the feeling 'but its only £? '
Good luck and welcome

havent yet set budget as wanted to use everything up first, i now do my shopping online and get same stuff everytime so no picking bits and pieces up, i also did a balance transfer of cc to a tesco one so all tesco purchases are 0% until next year as tescos say every little helps.
I just cant seem to stop spending money on rubbish i.e magazines and lunch out. Have given my partner my cashcard and he is under instruction to only give me £40 next month and to then hide the card as my outgoings will far exced my incomings due to drop in pay.:eek:0 -
Hi lollyred

We have some threads around that have been set up especially for people wanting to keep track of their spending on groceries, use up things in the fridge or freezer, and basically have a diary of what they want to do / have done for any given day.
(If we had individual threads for everyone we'd end up with hundreds of them, honest
)
So you might find the following threads very helpful to join in with:-
September 2007 Grocery Challenge
(keeping track of your spending)
September PMS challenge.
(keeping track of savings by shopping wisely)
store cupboard challenge
(using up all the stuff that's otherwise hiding at the back)
And finally there's a daily diary thread where you can post about how things are going when they may not fit into any of the threads above. You'll find today's thread here:-
OS 8th September 2007
Do please make use of them - you'll find them to be a great help.
