Car accident

Unfortunately yesterday I reversed into another car while stationary in a McDonalds drive thru - so i would be at fault.
I only reversed a few feet and was doing less than 5mph. The only damage to my car are a couple of hairline scratches which would easily come out with a bit of T Cut.
The other persons car - it's quite an old car (year 2000), which was already badly damaged. There was gaffatape all around both headlights (it looks like the tape was holding them in, the bonnet was full of dents and scratches.
The problem is he is claiming that this accident caused this damage to his car. We've both been in contact with our insurance companies, just wondering if anyone has any advice they can give?

Yup I have photos thank god. I just think he has seen it as a way of getting his car repaired personally0 -
Then await the insurance and make it clear you have photos, they will be very useful to the assessor in working out what damage was caused.
They are not mugs and will soon see through his plan to get a new car.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Well don't worry about it as your images will clearly show the gaff a tape and previous damage. Thing is you have no images of his whiplash.0 -
The car is probably only worth a few hundred quid, and is likely to be written off by their insurance company."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I just fear that the guy is going to be awkward about it if they do determine the damage wasn't my fault. I've been in work all day today, and i've had two voicemails and 5 missed calls off him already!0 -

In one of the voicemails he left me apparently his insurance company has told him the car will have to be written off due to the age and I will have to fork out £1500 for a new car!
There is no way it's worth £100 let alone £15000 -
