Hi everyone,
I want to buy this mobile - Samsung E590 - which is on the Virgin network, but I have an O2 sim to put inside it. Will it work, or will I need to get it unlocked?

It will need unlocking. Though often cpw phones come ready unlocked.0

Thank you! Do you know how much it is to unlock at the CPW, if they'll do it at all? Or should I be able to do it?Cake please...0

If it does need unlocking, once you have put £30 of credit on it, Virgin will usually unlock it for you for free.0

CPW don't unlock phones if you buy from them the phone is usually stock and the sim package is supplied separate. Your local phone shop or market trader can unlock most phones they charge £5-10.
Have a search on google you may be able to unlock yourself or obtain the code remotely.0
