Thank you chevalier, I'm working really hard on the website now in the hope that will bring in some extra money, it's going to be a long slow road though, there's so much competition out there!

I've written another blog post today, promoted on social media and had about half the visits I had on Friday. But I'm going to continue plodding on with it, it's something I'm passionate about and I'm enjoying it too.

I've earned a little from some matched betting today, not a lot but then we've had the inlaws round and getting homework done so I've been busy most of the day. I've also bumped up my points on a couple of sites too.

I'm looking forward to watching I'm a celeb in a minute, not everyone's cup of tea I know, but I find it entertaining!

  • Hi CM you sound to be doing really well with your online earnings? What's your blog? Love to have a nosey. I've just started match betting trying to get the hang of it slowly but need to figure away to track everything :)

    Hi Kittykat,

I'm not sure I'm allowed to put the link on here, it's a website with a blog attached. I'm pretty chuffed today as I've had three new affiliates signup with one of my sites, not the most profitable one sadly but still it's a massive boost to my confidence!

I've not had much time to work on the site today so far as there's been something on at school, but I'm hoping to add to it tonight and do some more promoting.

I've got half an hour now before school pick up so I'm going to see what offers are around on the various sites. If I can get back up to £500/month online I'll be a happy bunny!

I've been feeling pretty rubbish the last 48 hours, headachy and just all-round run down. It makes life with 3 children really miserable when you're not feeling great. I've found myself being really snappy and irritable which is not good.

I'm finally starting to feel better now so hopefully tomorrow will be a less grumpy day for me!

I've continued with my website mission today, it's definitely a slow burner but I'm still getting hits despite my low uptake on social media. I'm plodding on with the blog and getting a steady stream of visitors. I will get there with it, I'd determined!

I've also started to write an e-book. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while, so whist I'm in the zone I thought I'd make a start.

Swagbucks has been pretty kind today with four different codes popping up at various times. I've also bumped up my points on a couple of other sites too :j

    Morning all!

It's a beautiful day here, makes a change to the miserable, drizzly weather we've been having lately.

I'm off out to do some Christmas shopping shortly, I'll be glad when I make more of a dent in it. We've got the youngest's main present and a couple of small bits so far. Our daughter has finally chosen which bike she wants too, it's a web exclusive one so I'll order that today.

This afternoon I hope to spend some more time on the website and the ebook. I've had an issue with FB so I'm not getting the usual visits from there, I'm trying to boost hits from other sources which is working but far less efficient!

Hope everyone has a lovely, profitable, money-saving day!

I made a big dent in the Christmas shopping yesterday. After me commenting on what a nice morning it was, the weather turned and it was awful. We gave up trawling round the shops in the wind and rain and headed home for a warm. I ended up ordering the two remaining big presents online along with another for Little Man. I earned cashback for all of them and found really good prices too, I was pretty pleased with it!

I'm still working lots on the website and promoting it, it's a big learning curve for me but I'm enjoying it which I think is half the battle.

Off to see Mum later, she's got an appointment with the surgeon on Monday so she's pretty nervous about that. Hopefully Little Man can keep her distracted for a few hours.

We've got an usually quiet Saturday in front of us. I've just dropped my daughter off at a friend's, she's there for 3 hours, Little Man has just gone to bed, hubby is at work and eldest is snuggled next to me watching a film.

I'm glad of the quiet day really. It will give me a chance to get some focussed time on a few things I've not got round to. The washing machine is on it's third load for a kick off!

I've also had a productive day already with my online earnings. I've set up a few qualifiers for some matched betting today which altogether will net me at least £40. I've also managed to earn a few swagbucks, only 8 so far but I managed 340 yesterday so I'm more than happy!

I also want to continue with the website, I really need to boost the social network pages, FB in particular only has me liking my page so far :rotfl: I don't want to shove it in my friends faces as I'm a little sheepish about it all but could really do with figuring out ways to boost it all!

I also want to make a little more headway on my ebook which is sat waiting to be written, hit a bit of a brick wall with it though.

    Happy Saturday folks :j

What a miserable, wet Monday morning!

Mum had her appointment with the surgeon this morning. I couldn't take her as I had noone to get the children to school. I felt so guilty about it and my stomach has been churning all morning. I dropped the kids at school then went to get the food shop done to keep myself busy. Mum text about half an hour ago saying everything was ok, no date for the operation yet and she'll ring when she gets home. I hope they've given her some positive news.

Little Man is in bed already, he generally prefers a morning nap rather than an afternoon one and will quite happily head for the stairs when he's tired.

I'm going to spend the time online whilst he's napping, waiting for my Mum to ring and fill me in. I have managed to have a pretty good weekend earning online and made a total just short of £155. I also increased traffic to my website and had some success with boosting my FB page. I need to add to the site today though and also continue with the ebook.

We've been having a tough time with our daughter recently, I think the move and her Grandma's illness have played a part in the poor behaviour. She was a lot better yesterday and I think she needs a little tlc at the moment. I'm not pandering to poor behaviour but I do think she needs to know she's loved at the moment. Youngest is oblivious to everything that's going on and surprising my eldest (who I thought would struggle with the move most) has really taken it all in his stride, so far anyway! He's found two great friends and the whole thing seems to have matured him.

Anyway, my point was that I've bought some bits to do some baking with them after school. I'm not a natural baker but they'll enjoy it and hopefully our creations will taste ok-ish!

Mum's surgeon rang her Monday night to confirm she'll need two operations, one to remove the damaged areas of the liver and the other around 3 months later on the bowel. It's going to be a long road still but we're happy she has the option of surgery, apparently many in her situation aren't so lucky.

I've been working this morning as well as faffing some more with the website. I wasn't happy with the theme, I'm a little happier now but I think in the longrun I may invest in a better one. I still have so much content to add, it's finding the time to do it that's the problem though! I've been writing lists of jobs out in my diary which is helping me to order my thoughts. It's really hard work though getting it established.

I've also managed to redeem on swagbucks again for another £5 paypal cash. It's becoming a real earner at the moment. I'm going to start stashing my swagbucks cash somewhere separate I think for 12 months, it might motivate me to keep answering those surveys! That reminds me , need to check onepoll too as I'm struggling to get the last couple of pence to cashout at £40.
