  • Use Google photos and go for the unlimited storage. Even if you use a second service it can't hurt to have two backups. The search options are pretty powerful too :)

    I second Google Photos.

    In fact I'd rather use Google Photos over iCloud any day.

    Yep Google photos, they upload automatically from a location designated by yourself. I only upload from desktop. Brill

    So what exactly does that do to free up space, irreversibly compress your photos so that they lose definition? I don't know, I'm just curious.

    It keeps low res thumbnails of less used photos on the device and backs the originals off to iCloud. Accessing the photos pulls it back. Recent and frequently used photos are retained in full resolution on the device.

    Try Dropbox, it is a very good cloud storage.
