wouldn't have thought that it would be a problem, although as has been mentioned, they would need to make sure that the house was empty before they go on their holidays. Might be worth getting confirmation from their solicitor that there will be vacant possession on the day of completion and that the keys will be available from the estate agents so that you can move in that day.
I may have misunderstood, but I think it's the OP's buyers who are off on holiday. Vacant possession of their property is a problem for their buyers, not the OP 😀:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
My cousin was on holiday on completion day last year and there were no problems, it was agreed in advance that her parents would collect the keys on the day if they couldn't they would have been held until she returned from holidays.0
