Any value in selling a used kitchen?

Whack it on eBay. When we did our kitchen recently I put the old one on for a penny expecting it to go for not much more - my aim was to get someone to take it away so I didnt have to dispose of it.
To my surprise I got £150. The units were well worn and really, in my view, not much better than scrap. It appears there is a market though and people will pay good money.0 -
Yes - Ebay time. We even got a few bob for the doors off our old kitchen - and by the look of them they were B&Q jobs.
I would second the comments about taking things apart yourself wherever possible - the tradespeople won't want to mess around - time is money. If you have taken a lot of the stuff out yourself you may find they are more amenable to being helpful with the bits you couldn't remove ...0 -
I bought my "new" kitchen on ebay second hand. It was three years old and taken out of a second home, so basically unmarked. Omega / Mackintosh inframe units, Neff double oven and induction hob that look like they've never been used, undercounter fridge, beech worktop and stainless steel 1.5 bowl sink and tap, £1500. Original invoice was for £12k and the whole lot was like new. The layout of the kitchen it was taken out of was very similar to mine, I had minimal work to do to make it all fit, just trim some of the worktops and rout out new grooves for the joiners, slightly re-arrange the units on one wall to the different length.
I had to go collect it all, two trips in my camper, and I added a couple of matching units as the range is still current, so it now all fits nicely in my kitchen space.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
