    I've been Money Tipped!
Love my ice cream maker ... unfortunately it looks on the brink of going (bought it second hand)... will ask for advice when it gives up.
(Favourite ice cream, but I was told it's an aquired taste is a tin of chestnut puree with low fat evaporated milk... couldn't be simpler, can't buy it in the shops and Low fat).

Anyway... I'll just have to get used to it and have OH call me "nerdie"...
Still can't believe that I spend time reading stories about toilet paper (great thread it was...) when I could be ironing....

I actually used to waste no end of time doing just that!!

Cut out millions of recipes from mags and put them in a box then I'd say what shall I cook today look through, realise time's gone - get something from takeaway/fishop - stupid woman1:o
Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

That doesn't make you stupid!!! It makes you .... allllll woman!! :D

Funnily enough, my dmum said once that she could sit and 'read' recipe books .. I thought then that she was some kind of weirdo  *then - I grew up!*

Mado - trust me, you are not alone .. in fact ... I would rather be *eating* toilet roll or even scabby aligator than ironing!!!

I have to look busy all day now that dh is home sick :(

No wonder the house is spotless and the washing cupboard is empty.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

What do you mean????? My computer IS my life. My partner got sooo fed up with me spending ALL my home time upstairs on the computer that he bought me a laptop so that I could at least spend some time downstairs with him  - and he's an even bigger skinflint than I am!!!!Besides - I belong to the Quentin Crisp school of housework. It goes something along the lines of 'after 2 years the dust doesn't get any worse'.

Vanilla Extract is the best! (I've been known to use it as perfume as well)
