It never does. We're going to have to look at that beautifully dyed blow dried hair again.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

What will this be, the fourth time he has returned?0 -

I 100% disagree.
There will be a protracted negotiation to leave and depending on the terms, perhaps a referendum on whether to accept the terms, but I very much doubt there will be another.
For one thing, there will be a new PM in place, and David won't call one while preparing to leave office. George is probably finished too. The increasing lurch back to the right will lead to a new PM who will not permit any chance of the result being reversed.
Also, turnout was probably as high as it is ever going to be, if people didn't vote it's because they didn't care or because they didn't know what way to vote. Another campaign won't change that as leave will lie about immigration and how 'we' will get to spend the money 'saved' again. Remain will remain ineffective in putting their views across too. I never much listened to Remain arguments as I was voting that way from before the referendum was called but what little I did seems to be coming true as within hours the UK becomes the sixth biggest economy.0 -
RemainThere's already a petition (passed the 100k mark, so the govt is obliged to consider it) to hold a second referendum, where the results are not decisive (60% of a turnout of over 70%)...0

LeaveI believe by the time the UK gets around to officially leave there may be more countries queuing up to leave also, the UKs vote to leave could be just the nudge others were waiting for.......0

LeaveSources within Morgan Stanley say it has already begun the process of moving about 2,000 of its London-based investment banking staff to Dublin or Frankfurt.
this isn`t going to end well..0 -

Cool. Dublin is commutable for me.
I think its a nonsense story anyway - and Morgan Stanley are categorically saying its false. Apparently from their "Euro Clearing Division" - sure we dont have the Euro anyway so whats the issue and bearing in mind it'll take years for this to bottom out, whats the rush?0 -

That's not what a democracy is. If the result was remain the Brexiters wouldn't get a second referendum, neither should, nor will remain.0 -
LeaveThe other EU countries never in their wildest dreams thought that UK would vote leave. They are in shock. My bet is that over the coming months before official exit that heavy talks will take place to offer more incentives to stay. Wouldnt rule out a second vote in couple of yearsI started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p0

LeaveI see the FTSE has recovered. Back to where it was a week ago and the pound will get you 1.23 euro.0
