    Grundig

    Beko with a 5y warenty

    http://www.grundig.co.uk/item/gwn48430c

This modern washing machine with an outstanding A+++ rating for energy efficiency has an 8kg capacity, which allows for a larger load to be washed saving you time and money. The quick wash programme is convenient, washing a full load in 40 min at 40c. You can now do your washing at night with the silent-mode ensuring you won't cause any disturbances

(also available in stainless steel for a little more)

Some claim full load at 30c in 30ish mins

    (silver may be an issue)

Black is fine either - however the 30 degree 30min wash is a quick wash not a full proper was, its for lightly soiled clothes only, from what I can gather?

I actually looked at grundig and was going to go for it, as using the express wash you could speed up "standard" cycles - however read the manual and the express function can only be used on half loads I think.

Again the quick 40 minute wash is for lightly soiled only.

I generally only do 2 - 3 washes a week, and it will include horse riding and gym clothes, as well as my everyday clothes - so want them to full washes.

It was the 5 year guarantee was attracting me to this!

Full load with a short cycle, suspect they will all have smaller load/light soil buried in the small print if you can find the manuals.

My Beko is great it has a 2kg rapid wash that takes about 20min or a 7kg quick wash that takes 40min on 30 degrees and 1200 spin. It is adjustable though and I use the quick wash but up the temp to 40, 50 or 60 depending on what I wash and the max spin on quick wash is 1400 and still doesn't take more than an hour. Most often I up the temp to 40 and turn the spin off then do a separate 1600 spin which takes 12 minutes so still only just over an hour for the full cycle.

Every programme is adjustable on it, it's been such a good machine it's now over 5 years old and only paid around £250 for it. If it died today I would buy another one straight away, best WM I've ever used by far.
