    Hey BaldyBear,

I've been away for the last month so just catching up on your diary.

I noticed a few posts back that you mentioned you didn't know how secure your job was in the construction industry. I know exactly how this feels s I am employed in the offshore survey sector, mainly oil and gas. Like you I am just riding it out and seeing what happens, but it is a worry.

We also have the weight thing in common. I too carry weight well as I am tall, but I need to drop about 4 stone and get fitter. Thing is, I bloody love crisps!! Haha. I hope you are doing well with the healthy eating!

    Runders

Hello, lovely to see you :) Fingers crossed for your job too, just watching this space here and trying to minimise damage while I can :)

Healthy eating getting better slowly, found a good quick HiT routine which I am trying to aim to do a few times a day to tone up, that will definitely help. Good luck in your quest :D

Good morning world, so havent been on for a few days so lots to catch up on.

Thursday hoss trainer came down, hack in the woods, trainer rode YO horse, fab super fab, one point my grumpy hoss in front a bit hesitant but soon got in her stride and did a lovely walk and trot, no canter yet but working up to that. I feel so much improved on her, this was me during and after the ride --> :D:D

Saturday went with sis and dad to see his sis and her hubbie down in Worthing, she is also suffering with Alzheimers but more advanced, she definitely perked up more as the day went on, lovely to see them.
Sunday morning did some house work, yawn, then dinner at sis, then sis and I took nephew out for afternoon, went to local ice cream parlour, let him run it off in soft play and then a quick game of bowling, rainy afternoon fun.

Yesterday went with sis, bro in law and nephew out to Arundel castle, great day, sun was shining and they had a history re-enactment going on, falconry displays amongst others, fab :)

So result has been very spendy, most has been on my debit card, in budget but super tight. I also have £87 on my cc to pay off, £33 from boxes for work (was going to send back but keeping as will come in useful down yard), £45 on garden waste annual subscription, £2 on a book and £6 on 2 birthday cards (2 friends 40th this month). In theory I dont have any money to pay this off, but I will do before any interest charged, so need to up my game to get this paid off asap.

So plans going forward, a) cut down my savings, dont really want to do this as nice to see it all building up in various pots so there when needed or b) best option is to make some extra pennies. Surveys I do already and are going well but I do really need to get back into the habit of ebaying as got loads to do and it does really help bringing in the pennies. Must crack on this week.

    Good morning :)

So spent a few pennies yesterday on some bits for work (reclaimable), today have done full grocery shop £44 spent, lots in freezer/store cupboards so fresh bits for the month ahead.

Productive evening yesterday, came home cleaned kitchen, dinner, walked to hoss, cleared wheelbarrow of poo from the field (need to do a lot more), then made a strawberry shortcake as tonnes of strawberries growing again :)

    Good morning :)

Ex round last night got all his bits out of the loft (bar some golf clubs and xmas tree, going to try and sell those) and now my back room resembles a storage unit, sigh, but another step closer to it all leaving the house, hopefully within the next week. Also there is a sofa in that room and it is ex's, now in theory he is taking it, that is if he can get it out of the house, if not great, if so then will need to start hunting around for a new one.

So today should be a NSD, managed 11 in august :)

So money for savings have gone out today, have revised insurance target as now some stuff not needed, quick update:

    Account Target Value
    Fun £1k £69
    Hols £500 £579 - reached yay :D
    Horse £1140 £317
    House £1k £71
    Insurance £900 £785
    ISA £5k £2.9k
    Misc £1200 £310

Interest will be added tomorrow so few more pennies to each. Am glad have reached one target but will continue with savings as hoping to book holiday for october so all pennies needed. Fun and House have been decimated recently but that was due to spends that were well thought of so happy with that.

Today shouldnt need to spend pennies as lunch bought in, food shop should be delivered later. Have got someone coming round this evening to discuss pensions, via survey site, interview for hour or so with possible filming, but will be paid £40 :D

    Good afternoon :)

So man round thursday evening, 50 min chat about pensions and £40 cash paid :) Friday very short day at work in the morning and then the afternoon and evening out at a leaving do. £19 spent on trains, but hopefully reclaimable. Rest of time out free as boss paid including dinner! Had far too much to drink, dont drink that often, it would have been ok until MD bought some champagne. So saturday ended up being most of it spent in bed with a stonking headache :o Nevermind did a few bits and picked up dad from a church do, spent a few pennies on tea bags and bread. Sunday much more productive, cleared some poo from field, did all my washing, picked and prepped more runner beans and then out for a few hours in the afternoon with sister and nephew to local garden centre. They have a small soft play so nephew happy and we spent few hours drinking hot chocolate and gossiping :)

Yesterday didnt spend a penny, lots of food still in the freezer, caught up with my friend who now has an OH, still early days but seems ok. Today have bought lunch in and just spent on filling up the car with fuel.

So plans needing to be put into place to pay of spends on my CC, may need to raid my savings as in theory have enough in account to pay it now but have a few social events coming up so need pennies for these. Not charged interest until end of month so can keep a review and watch this space.

£10 voucher landed for supermarket and another £15 on its way so thats a great start on the food budget next month :)

    Good morning :)

Have raided savings (rental deposit) and paid of CC, feels good to be back to 0. Have raided this account rather than others as dont think lodger moving out any time soon and the small amounts of interest on this account that I get can help re-pay it, plus due some expenses and survey money so wont take long to re-build the fund!

So my job wasnt looking that secure, i.e. possible redundancy at the end of the month, but now it may change! I am on a 12 week notice period and also entitled to 12 weeks redundancy so worth staying as a sizeable lump sum. If am still here next year may possibly look around but for now, just watch this space!

    Good afternoon world :)

So meant to be going to a corporate event tonight, may not make it due to work colleague faffing and being generally grrr, have couple of hours before I hit the traffic so fingers crossed :) He has redeemed himself slightly in buying me a box of chocolates to apologise for his behaviour over last few weeks, need 100's of boxes but its a start!

So small spend on sandwich at lunchtime just in case I do make it to the event. Yesterday spent £50 on super reduced bedding set for home, always on the lookout to replace what I have as old but nothing I get seems right so hoping on this one, can always return once it arrives.

£10 amazon voucher received from survey site, have tucked away for future use :)

    Good morning world :)

So managed to make it to corporate event, it was my MD plus a few colleagues playing bubble football, google it, soooo funny, great evening :)

Friday was a very slow day at work, not much achieved and felt very unmotivated, came home and spent £10 on steak, chips and chocolate cake, oops but very much needed. Ordered bro in law's birthday present so another £40 spent on CC.

Saturday didnt spend a penny, had a housewarming at my sisters house, lots of variety of guests but nice to catch up with lots of people, great afternoon/evening :)

Sunday again didnt spend a penny, cut my grass and tidied back garden, took advantage of the sunshine and had a few hours snoozing out there, did some surveys, finally got some motivation and put an item on ebay (already got a bid :)) and sorted out all of my toiletries, have enough moisturiser and shower gel to last months, did get rid of old bits and stuff I would never use, cupboards a lot more organised now.

Need to do some more ebaying this week as nice to see the pennies add up. So today final bill out of bills account so £8 odd transferred back to repay rental fund after last week's spending.

So £11 survey money due, £50 ebay sale and around £50 on expenses. So this will cover bro in law's birthday pressie, the bedding if I decide to keep it and a few pounds spare so that can go back to the rental fund. All figures ok going forward so pleased with that :D

    Good morning :)

Small spends today, milk and biscuits for office (reclaimable) and cash out for friends birthday bash on Saturday. Some more vouchers redeemed from survey sites, just waiting for them to land now!

Productive evening yesterday, made eggs for sandwiches, groomed horse, cleaned out my hamster, downloaded photos from camera and phone and backed up pc.

Lovely sunny day today, sandwiches made and brought in and going to go and sit in the park at lunchtime and plans to ride the hoss after work :D
