Without going into too much details of why im asking this, is there websites that specialize in B+Bs ? I dont see too many of them on Kayak or Airbnb. Im looking for temp digs for 5 weeks in the Coventry area, i dont want to share a house or bathroom and i dont want to stay in a basic hotel for that time. A room only b+b would be fine with a private bathroom.

Have a look on booking.com for prices and then ring the B&B direct as you may get cheaper rates as you are looking at a long stay.0

Have a look at smoothhound.co.uk.0

thanks for the suggestions guys, booking.com is incuded when you use kayak for searching, its searches all the bighotel sites. Smoothhound seems to be a clone of one of the big hotel sites.
I had a 6 days stay at a cracking b+b in weston super mare, £36 a night, it was a really nice victorian house, it was super clean and very comfortable surroundings. I cant find anything similar here. Any b+b prices are way over £40 a night. It is mostly hotels that are on these sites though.0 -
Maybe charging so little, they (hopefully) have small margins, so don't want to pay the commission involved in being represented on such sites.0

thats an interesting point, i dont know how they all work.
The hotel in in just now and have spent quite a few nights in, the hotel prices are the same as booking on the hotel website, some hotel sites are more expensive so looking for a bigger cut. However the b+b in Weston Super Mare charged me less paying directly, i booked 2 nights through a booking site then asked to stay longer and the price was less by a few quid a night.0
