Maybe their place of work provides an indoor area for breaks but they want to be outside now it is nicer weather which is why there seem to be more of them suddenly.
Maybe contact their employer and speak to them at least you will feel you have done something proactive.
The Eastern Europeans here mainly work in the meat factories.. they are highly skilled carpenters and masons and butchers yet many have left their children and families to come here to work so their families can eat.. you really cant knock their work ethic!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
This is a good time to introduce yourself to your neighbours, they might be able to give you a bit more background info.
If it's all good you can stop feeling a bit uneasy but if they are also concerned you can think about whether there's a reason to talk to a PCSO (if they still exist).0 -

As I said from the start they're not really causing any issues, when home I wouldn't even know they're there. The only thing is having a constant look out every time I step in and out. That's all.
If it was the same amount of people but different faces 'coming and going' all the time it'd be normal. I will get used to I am sure and that's fine. I understand they're workers of some sort and are not there waiting to burglar my place as soon as I leave!
I feel already more reassured after reading these comments!
OP, I know you haven't specified a particular nationality but I just wanted to add that I had a holiday in Krakow many years ago and it was commonplace there to find groups of people gathering together to talk, smoke etc. Next to the river was a permanent line of tables on which people played Chess in the open each day - just wandered along and sat down to play opposite a complete stranger. I wouldn't know if the men in your road are Polish or not, but I do wonder if what they're doing is just a continuation of a cultural practise? It's just a thought.

I think some people live on the types of streets where people hanging out is commonplace and acceptable whereas other streets it would be very unusual and not the norm.
If the OP is uncomfortable at this new development then she could have a word with the police who will likely go and speak to them and find out why they are there and either tell them to move along or decide whatever they are doing is reasonable and leave them in peace (or even if they don't police interest may encourage them to relocate anyway)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I would feel uncomfortable about this. When I was at uni we had a group of people that use to hang out outside on our street at all hours. I'm from a not very nice area of London and I was in leafy Hampshire but it still made me feel unsafe.Current debt: M&S £0(£2K) , Tesco £0 (£1.5K), Car loan 6K (paid off!)
