Hi,
I have found a good price to Australia (one way)via the edreams site, but I know nothing about this company. Has anybody used them and can give me some feed back please?
Also any feedback regarding Statravel please

Along with their sister site Opodo I'd say they top the list of 3rd party sites with the most complaints. Check out Tripadvisors air travel forum, it seems new threads are being opened about on a daily basis. If the price is significantly lower than what the airline offers chances are it's not a live price.0

If not a live price can they increase the price at a later date?0 -

Yes, and you can be sure that they will if the price is not live. Of course they'll charge your card for the qouted price first so your choice will be to pay more or get a refund which may well take weeks to arrive. My advice would be to book your ticket direct from the airline. The price you see is the price you'll pay and if there are any issues with your booking you can sort them out with the airline directly.0 -

The Air Travel board on Tripadvisor has lots of complaints about edreams.
Here's one comment from a poster in reply to someone complaining about their edreams booking:Oh, dear, another member suckered by cheap deals from ECrooks......
When will people learn to do some basic research before doing business with this shonky, bent, crooked, disreputable bunch of lying cowboys?
Then if you decide to go ahead with the edreams booking, you'll be doing it with your eyes open.0 -

Hi,
I have found a good price to Australia (one way)via the edreams site,
Just noticed this part of your post - the lower fare on eDreams's site is almost certainly due to them selling you a return ticket masquarading as a one-way fare (return fares are often cheaper than one-way tickets). They then expect you to ditch the inbound flight of your booking in violation of airline T&C (of course they never bother telling you this). If this is what you're going to do you may as well book a cheap return flight yourself and just use the outbound portion.0 -
We inform you that eDreams guarantees its customers the best available price at the moment of the reservation.
Keep in mind that 'moment of reservation' here doesn't mean 'when the customer makes the booking', it means 'when eDreams gets around to confirming the price they qouted is still available'. Again, prices are subject to change until eDreams confirms the booking and if they have gone up, you will be asked to pay more or get a refund, usually in months rather than days (if you ever get it, plenty of stories on TA from people who've had to fight for their refund).0
